“My Latvia” won Viļānu secondary school I team

On November 15, in anticipation of the anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Latvia, traditionally Rēzekne and Viļānu of the municipality of Rezekne gathered in the municipality of Rezekne, in order to identify the most knowledgeable and successful team in the Rēzekne game “my Latvia”. This year, 15 teams participated in the competition, which took place in seven contests, where they tested their knowledge of Latvia's history, culture, literature and sport, tried to recognize frames from Latvian films, recognized Latvian personalities and various natural and cultural historical objects, as well as showed how well they knew the days of celebrations and attitudes of the year.
In compiling the results, 3 rd place with 38.5 points was won BY Nautrēnu secondary school team, 2 nd place with 39.5 points won the Jaunjjan elementary school, while 1 st place with 40.5 points was earned BY Viļānu secondary school I team.
