Latvian people! Begun to sign up for the European Youth War Grand Prize 2017
All Latvian young people from 16 to 30 years of age are invited to participate in a European project - Karl big prize 2017. The aim of the competition is to present at EU level projects that promote understanding and form a common European identity, as well as practical examples of the lives of Europeans as a single Community.

The Grand Prize of Charles was founded in 2008 by the European Parliament and the Aachen City International Charles Foundation. In 2017, the award will be given for the 10 th time.
2016 laureates
2016 contest first place fought Italian project to support refugee integration Integreatencouraging young people from across Europe. Integreat the project was developed BY AIESEC. It brings together volunteers at international level, local NGOs and the Community. AIESEC is an international platform for students and recent graduates with the aim of identifying and developing their potential, which could have a positive impact on society. Latvian National winner in 2016
On Latvia's national winner in 2016 Latvian European parliament and youth representatives jury acknowledged Liepāja's child and youth centre “E-POSS” of youth exchange projects implemented by youth house. “E-POSS” 40 young people from Portugal, Italy, Romania and Latvia were gathered and the aim was to promote the active participation of young people through informal learning methods: learning from each other, learning the cultural diversity of Europe, seeing it and developing a message - European eposit in digital format.

European Youth Charles big prize
The European Youth Carl's big prize aims to promote European awareness among young people and their participation in European integration projects. The award is awarded to youth projects that promote understanding in Europe and around the world, form a common European identity and provide practical examples of the lives of Europeans as a single Community.
Every year the jury in 28 EU Member States determines the national winner. They are then assessed by the European jury - the three best projects receive a money prize and an opportunity to present a project to a wide, international audience.
