LIAA Rēzekne business incubator commits the admission of new participants
With the slogan “your team start”, the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) business incubators announce the spring of 2023 in the pre-incubation programme. From 1 to 20 March, a six-month training programme will receive 250 business idea authors, while the Rēzekne business incubator is expected to accommodate 15 new participants. As of 2017, this programme has been acquired by the authors of 2986 business ideas.
Minister of Economy Ilze Indriksone: “Ensuring entrepreneurship requires overcoming prejudices and potential risks, not afraid of failure and focusing on the achievement of new success. Participation in the pre-incubation programme of business incubators is not only the first serious push point for emerging entrepreneurs, but is also one of the elements of an innovative and productivity-oriented entrepreneurial ecosystem in Latvia, which will be able to provide the necessary jobs for citizens throughout the country, stable prosperity and security for the future. Therefore, State aid for the start and development of new business is invaluable.
The pre-incubation program is suitable for business idea authors who do not yet have their own business, as well as new entrepreneurs at the start of their business, when the product is not yet available to a wide range of customers. The programme lasts for six months and during its time participants participate in training, learning the most important business skills, attending business experience story sessions and receiving mentor support for the development of a detailed action plan for developing a business idea.
Participation in the programme shall also provide access to the working premises of office machinery or joint working in any of the twelve business incubators of LIAA and nine support units, as well as the possibility of joining the largest new economic operator for the Community in Latvia.
