On July 22, Lūznavas Manor and Park called for an art and taste festival for the third time, the art picnic. The beautiful, well-filled and sunny Sunday Luznava gathered almost 3,000 visitors who were allowed to enjoy the day.
THE Lūznavas Manor Park had been waiting for visitors from 13.00, when families with children were invited to attend the village, in order to experience the activities of children in the street, cinema tent and doll show. As the first musical part of the art picnic was started by small hosts, the band “Žvurgzdyni”, but the whole day continued “Tangoriginales”, the Evilena Protektores jazz quartet, “Rahu the Fool” and “no VAT”. This year, the picnic program was hosted by guests from other countries – the guitarist quartet “Baltic Guitar Quartet” from Estonia and Trubadour, the multi-instrumentalist Silver Sepp from Estonia, who amazed the picnic guests with an unusual stage – a car trailer with sail – and a musical instrument game, which was mostly composed of various household objects – both a plain water bottle and a carton coffee cup and a gas cylinder. The daily programme was completed a little after 23.00 by the announcement of the legendary group “thunder”, by closing the events of the Day weekend of Rezekne.
As in previous years, the programme of the event was varied and varied in the past year, not least by the events that have never been seen. Traditionally, the contemporary contemporary dance shows, which are awarded directly BY THE Lūznavas manor park environment, circus performances, cinema program for both children and adults, artistic events, both exhibitions and the plenary and the opportunity to participate in the work of the art work themselves. The excitement of the new Lūznavas manor of the new Lūznavas, involving the podiers Ilmārs Vecelis, Staņislavs Vilnius and Viola Anna Bīriņa, was offered to visitors for the first time, and for the first time, the visitors were offered water activities – coating and driving with a boat. This year's art picnic programme included activities dedicated to Latgalian literature – the latest expenditure in Latgali for both large and small. THE Lūznavas manor team was very pleased about the revival of the artists' house – local businessmen Elina and Martin Kischenko created a one-day exhibition hall in Rēzekne.
The art picnic took almost 3000 leads throughout the day, enjoying the great time, the uncompressed atmosphere, and the beautiful venue. The manor team is delighted that more and more people are using an opportunity every time for a Sunday picnic with their family or friends, enjoying the contents of the picnic basket taken, but as for other years, the fun of the abdomen, by arranging a number of “moment restaurants”, was offered by the cafe “birds” and the individual recreational centre “ADD Story”.
After the events of the event, the picnic organisers feel pleased that the idea of an art picnic – to animate an active art feel, combining various fields and disciplines, promoting co-production in art, environment, business and other sectors – is, at the heart of the whole, keeping the people and his feelings, so beautifully survived in that year. The picnic call was to reveal and appreciate the beautiful, diverse and interesting around it – it was also planned next year, meeting THE Lūznavas Manor Park on July 21.
The work of the art picnic was supported by the municipality of Rezekne, the State Culture Capital Foundation, the association “Agriculture”, the Riga International Film Festival 2ANNAS, “Café BIRDS”, “Verems”, “Banana chill”, “ADD Story”, the French Institute in Latvia and “Latvian concerts”.
