Lūznavas boiler for heating season

In the last week, the Ministry of Education and Science transferred to the municipality of Rezekne a part of THE Lūznavas technical building. One of the objects taken is also Lūznavas boiler. In order to ensure full heat supply in municipal buildings and Lūznavas in the dwellings of the population, work on the preparation of the boiler preparation for the expected heating season was started at the beginning of this week. During repairs, it is intended to install the water preparation equipment and the thermal accounting centre, perform balancing of the heating system, replace one of two heating boilers and other works.

The total cost of work will be less than 40 thousand EURO. According to the executive director of the municipality of Rezekne, Jānis Troška, financing for the work will be provided from the municipal SIA “Maltas apartment utility company” (Maltas DzKSU), which will henceforth be the supplier of heat energy IN Lūznavas village. “In 2013, the municipality of Rezekne granted Maltas JKSU 46 thousand EUR for the purchase of a powerful chip and a large capacity trailer. As it was not realised, it was decided to redirect these funds TO THE repair of Lūznavas boiler equipment, as well as to purchase new hardware and software FOR Maltas DzKSU,” explains Janis Troška.

The works will be completed and the heating season at Luznava will begin no later than 15 October.
