Training for farmers on the use of plant protection products

This year, on 25 and 27 February, 3 and 5 March, “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” IN Rezekne's advisory office will be subject to pay training “safe, agronomic and economically justified use of plant protection products”.
During the course of the training, questions relating to the safe, agronomic and economically justified use of plant protection products will be learned in both theoretical and practical terms. In practice, it will be possible to fill in the registration documentation of plant protection products, to become acquainted with the labelling of plant protection products, to become acquainted with the laws and regulations related to the use of plant protection products, the identification and containment measures of the most common harmful organisms, as well as the information related to the use of other plant protection products will be available during the course of the training.
Course fee: eur 120.00, including VAT, but for small holdings and forestry service enterprises with turnover in the last year, but not exceeding 15 000 euros and forest land owners and legal possessors with forest land area up to 50 hectares – 44.17 euros, incl. VAT (in accordance with CABINET Regulation No. 705).
Pre-registration is MANDATORY! The number of places in this training group is limited.
Training is provided under the “Knowledge Transfer and Information Activities” sub-measure of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) for 2014-2020. LAD Contract No. LAD131118/P44.

In addition to the abovementioned training, the extension of the period of validity of certificates in the use of professional plant protection products of registration class 2 will also take place. The training will be held on 6, 11 and 13 February at 9:00 (3 separate groups, each 1 day).
Basic training for the acquisition of licences for the use of plant protection products (plant protection products may be used, cannot be purchased). The training will take place one day at 10 March at 10:00. The exam is also scheduled for this day.
