Home cafe days in Rezekne municipality
“Home cafe days” is a special event that opens improvised cafes for one or two days, inviting every region of Latvia to enjoy cultural offers, traditions and culture. On 23 and 24 July, the destination of the garages is Central Latgale – including the improvised “cafe” in Rezekne municipality.
CUKURELLA Dricānu parish, July 23, pl. 11.00 – 18.00
Apple bier zefirus, Marshmallow pastilles, macarone and biscuits, eclare and poppies. Domestic ice-cream is also prepared during the summer season. IN the context of “house cafes”, CUKURELLA offers not only a taste but also a purchase of their own products.
Creative field “Leicyans” - in shells, Dricānu parish, you will be waiting on 24 July, pl. 11.00 – 17.00
Hot-karstmaižu (panini) workshops (July 24, pl. 13:00 and pl. 14:00), as well as creative workshops in paper casting. It will also be possible to look at the farm and animals, who are also awaiting the challenges of sports games.
Recreational place “beautiful Razna” – Kaunatas parish, 23 and 24 July, from pl. 11.00 to 18.00
Everyone is invited to enjoy smoked, fried or cooked fish, fish soup and Razna mappings. Simon Irene's guests will wait for two days.
“At the knife” - teveņānos, Viļānu parish, July 23, pl. 11.00 – 15.00
Use the opportunity to feel closer to nature. There will be a chance to taste something new – the dudge pancakes. The food will also be preserved on the seedlings. A survey of the creative research centre “Thistle” has also been offered.
Bērzgales Manor Birch, July 23, pl. 15:00 – 20:00
Every visitor was expecting to taste the featured delights, walk in the manor park guide, and listen to the musical greeting from the Bar Azarpucce and the caramel. Everyone is invited.
Family Wine in nails on 23 and 24 July, pl. 11.00 – 19.00
The tasting of domestic wine was offered, walking through the berries. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste this year's new currants and blackberries.
Home cafe “School of Dain gardeners” in Rogovka, July 24, pl. 11.00 – 18.00
The offer is an extensive programme not only for gardeners but also for art fans and anyone who likes the garden. Visitors will have a chance to go through a plant in a plant collection garden and find out a variety of natural-friendly and easy-to-eat garden masters, taste the Gen soup, listen to poetry readings. Musicums - Ilzeskalna parish folklore set, Sovskis and Cynthia Ludborža.
“Home cafe days” provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to show their unique culinary offer and local traditions. Local inhabitants who do not normally work with catering or hospitalisation are becoming hosts and waiters. It is an opportunity for visitors to eat and explore new flavours. Home cafe guests can also be expected to play musical performances, games, excursions on a farm or workshop and other activities. “Home cafe days” in each region occurs once a year – one weekend in the period from July to September.
