After the first public consultation, the design of the plan is continued

The public consultation of the Rēzekne Municipality Planning 1.0 and the environmental review project took place over the period from 14 February to 16 March 2020. In electronic form, the people were able to consult the website of the municipality of Rezekne, www.rezeknesnovads.lv “Participation of the public” and the national single geospatial information portal. www.geolatvija.lv under “Territorial Development Planning”. In the form of printout, in the premises of the municipality of Rezekne, the premises of the local government administration (in the release alley 95a - 17) and 25 Rezekne municipality county boards.
In order to ensure effective participation of the public in the discussion of the section 1.0 of the spatial plan, five meetings were organised in all four parish associations and the Rēzekne municipality in the local government administration hall. A total of 103 people took part in the meetings, including the changes made in the parish association territories and the area as a whole, highlighting information on the creation of new villages. The citizens were able to ask questions and discuss the designers of the spatial plan.
Written proposals and submissions were accepted in the municipality of Rezekne, the municipality of Rezekne municipality, as well as during public consultation meetings. The possibility of sending applications and proposals to be sent remotely – by uploading a national geospatial information portal or by sending electronically to the official e-mail of the municipality of Rezekne. Stakeholders were given the opportunity to receive individual advice. Within the framework of the consultation, 28 submissions and proposals from natural and legal persons have been received.
The institutions involved, which provided conditions for the development of spatial planning as well as neighbouring municipalities, were asked for opinions regarding the planning documents submitted for public consultation. In total, 26 opinions were received.
The opinions expressed in the meetings are fixed in the minutes, the submissions of natural and legal persons and the opinions of the institutions are summarised in a table which will be examined during the development of the work group for the development of the development of the spatial plan 1.0 and the development of the environmental review project.
