All Latvian provinces met in Riga in the days of nowadays

From 10 to 12 June, the event was held for a third time in Riga with folklore pools, ethnographic ensembles, rural chapels. Everybody could know the diversity of Latvia, sing the most beautiful song songs, taste typical meals and get to know masters. On 11 and 12 June, the days of the municipality took place in the Latvian Etnography Museum.

“Novadu Day 2016” in Latgale City event also took part in the Rēzekne municipality folklore collective: Ilzeskalna parish folklore set, Mākoņkalna People's House folklore set, Nagļu parish folklore set “Skreina”, Čornajas People's House folklore set “Auscara”, Bērzgales cultural house folklore set “Bērzgale”, Čornajas parish folklore set “Ratp37t”, Čornajas cultural house Etp17t, Rikavas cultural house ETP17T, Rikavas cultural house ETP17T, Ozolaines cultural house folklore “Zyle”.
The National Cultural Centre of Latvia is organized by Latvian National Cultural Centre in cooperation with Latvian ethnography museum and free-nature recreational park FIR.
