Military training will take place in the territory of Ozolaine parish
21. aprīlī Rēzeknes novada Ozolaines pagasta teritorijā notiks Zemessardzes 3. Latgales brigādes 36. kaujas atbalsta bataljona profesionālā dienesta karavīru iepriekš plānota apmācība.
Karavīru apmācības programma paredz gan uzturēt līdz šim apgūtās prasmes, gan apgūt arvien jaunas iemaņas vienības kaujas spēju stiprināšanai. Mācībās piedalīsies aptuveni 25 karavīri, kuri uzdevumu izpildei pārvietosies pa koplietošanas un meža ceļiem. Mācību uzdevumu veikšanai nav plānota nekādas munīcijas vai imitācijas līdzekļu izmantošana.
Zemessardzes 3. Latgales brigādē zemessargu un karavīru militārās apmācības process tiek organizēts nepārtraukti visa gada garumā, veicot dažādus taktiskos uzdevumus gan vasaras, gan ziemas periodos. Regulāro plānveida mācību laikā zemessargi uzlabo savu gatavību Zemessardzes vienību atbildības teritoriju aizsardzībai sadarbībā ar citām Zemessardzes un regulāro spēku vienībām.

Mācību norises vietās Rēzeknes novadā un tā apkaimē notiks karavīru un tehnikas īslaicīga pārvietošanās pa koplietošanas ceļiem. Nacionālie bruņotie spēki aicina novada iedzīvotājus ar izpratni izturēties pret Zemessardzes aktivitātēm, kas vērstas uz valsts aizsardzības spēju stiprināšanu.
The National Armed Forces also recall that the spring phase of the military training cycle “NAMEJS 2022”, with several combined international exercises, “Defender Europe”, “Knight Legion”, “Swift Response”, “Summer Shield” and the Estonian Defence Force's major military exercises “Hedgehog”, will be held in Latvia in parallel with the planned combat capacity maintenance training.
During this period in all regions of Latvia – Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Zemgale and Latgale will be the movement of Latvian and Allied soldiers and military equipment along the main and regional roads of the country. In the course of training tasks, a variety of military aircraft including combat helicopters will also be held periodically. “AH-64 Apache” flights in Latvian airspace and these flights shall be carried out in accordance with Latvian laws and regulatory enactments in the field of airspace utilisation.
The National Armed Forces call on the people of all Latvian regions to be treated with awareness of ongoing military exercises aimed at improving national defence capabilities and strengthening regional security.
In order to ensure the awareness of Latvian citizens, in the coming weeks the National Armed Forces will regularly publish the latest information regarding the movement of military equipment of the Allies, the support tasks of the host state and the deployment of Allied Forces to the period of training, as well as the major activities of the training in various Latvian provinces.
