In 2014, the Latvian National Library Support Society organized the competition “parish librarian - light carrier” for the eighth time. This year, 52 librarians from all Latvia were invited to compete. The association from each region of Latvia: Latgale, Vidzeme, Zemgale, Kurzeme and Pierīga nominated only one librarian. In Latgale region, 2 bidders fought for 1 st place in a very intense competition: the librarian of the 1 ST Library of Rezekne, the librarian of Tamara Kablanova and Ludza District - Žanna Vasilevska. Tamara won the honest second place.
Tamara is a loving librarian of her works. Responsive, cheerful, besty, knowledgeable and creative, which creates a positive aura in the library and brings together a large number of readers, both small children, pupils, and their parents and grandparents. Thanks to the creative imagination of Tamara, a variety of events, competitions, workshops, exhibitions, etc. are held every month in the library, for example, in the end of 2013, children wrote “Christmas miracle”, which was collected in a beautiful book that looked like Christmas saw.
Kids don't miss almost any event in a library. They are delighted to participate and also receive a surprise prize, a gift, or a Sweetheart. It's just a librarian.
Tamara is able to involve not only children, but also families. Our family also engaged in the children's/youth/parents' jury, all with excitement reading and discussing books.
Tamara is constantly deepening her knowledge at various courses because she realizes that nowadays, without any new information, she can't get out. She herself participates in and invites the library readers. For example, he took part in the concept of “a light road - a chain of books of books”, which received positive emotions and inspiration for himself, the family, and the work.
We have a joy and pride of Tamara Kablanov – Kaunatas parish BEARER!
