Iveta Balzer will be working on the manager of Luznava Manor

On 13 July, a competition on the vacancy manager of Luznava Manor was closed. Eight applicants had submitted applications for tenders. In assessing the education and professional experience of applicants, seven were invited to the second round of the competition, a written test which took place on the morning of 13 July, while on the same day at 14.00, the three best bidders were invited to an interview. During the interviews, the Commission assessed the applicant's communication skills, foreign language knowledge, as well as knowledge of Luznava's estate and its development. In the competition for the most suitable bidder, Iveta Balzer was recognised.

Iveta Balcer has two master's degrees in management science and philology. He is currently working as a project manager and conference organizer in the Eastern Latvian concert hall “GORS”, as well as on the training of non-formal education of young people in the international programme agency of the Ministry of Education and Science. Similarly, Iveta Balzer has gained experience in several international projects and training in various countries of the world.

In the story of the future of Luznava Manor, Iveta Balzer emphasizes that it is planned to build the concept of the development of the estate based on the preservation of the unique cultural historical values of the building: “historically, the first owners of the estate wanted to animate the artistic, creativity and intercultural dimensions, so that an artistic atmosphere, where unusual ideas were born, was born in the estate – it is also planned to develop Luznava's estate.” The new manager of services offers a number of directions, including art and cultural history, sports and active recreational, culinary and traditional heritage. “In addition, it will be important to provide interesting services throughout the year to avoid seasonality tourism,” says Iveta Balzer.

The new manager will commence work at Luznava Manor within a month as soon as the employment relationship with the former employer has been terminated.
