On the quality of water in the bathing areas of Rezekne
The municipality of Rēzekne Municipality each year – May, June, July, August and September – perform monitoring of bathing waters in public water bodies and local government properties. In the monitoring of the quality of the current water quality in the public bathing sites of Rezekne, the results indicated:

Swimming is not recommended: Ozolmuižas centre pond (Ozolmuižas parcel)
Swimming is not allowed: Maltas river at Rozentova Bridge, Partova Lake (Kaunatas parish), Poopola reservoir (Ozolaines parish), Razna Lake (c. Veresovka, Lamashi), Solorer Lake.
Physico-chemical and microbiological examinations were performed, as well as visual observations of each bathing site. In 2022, the municipality of Rezekne has concluded a contract with the scientific institute “BIOR” for food safety, animal health and the environment.
Reminder:
Although the water quality measurements of Lake Razna Lake Lipušku are within the norm, “swimming pruritus” is found in this bathing site”. On July 4, the bathing site of the Lake Razna Lake in Lipuškos Mākoņkalna parish and the bathing site OF Luban Lake IN Gaigalavas parish was subjected to the removal and testing of bathing water samples. The quality of bathing water shall comply with the requirements of regulatory enactments after microbiological indicators. However, caution is recommended when swimming with sensitive skin. We also draw attention to the fact that Luban Lake's public bay is closed in the 2022 bathing season due to the repair work of the northern dam of lake! It is forbidden, dangerously alive! More: HERE
