Military training will take place in the territory OF Rēzekne Municipality Lūznavas parish
From 17 to 19 June, the National Guard 3 will be held in THE municipality of Rezekne. The 36 th Battle of Latgale Brigade supports pre-planned training of battalion soldiers and national guardsmen for the maintenance and development of unit battle capabilities.
In the training of the 36 th Battalion of the National Guard, the training of field combat skills, the strengthening of the orientation skills and improvement of general physical preparedness will be performed. The training tasks shall be planned and implemented in such a way that each soldier and a national guardsman are prepared for the performance of State security and defence tasks together with other units of the National Guard and Regular Forces.
The attention of the people!
There will be approximately 40 soldiers and national guardsmen who will travel through shared and forest roads in both daylight and dark times. No ammunition will be used during training.

The National Guard's 36 th Battle Support Battalion is a professional service sub-unit that provides Latvian citizens with two possibilities: becoming soldiers and forming a professional military career in Latgale, or becoming a national guardsman and military basic knowledge from work or training in free time.
The professional service sub-unit of the National Guard is established four years ago in order to strengthen the response capacity of the National Armed Forces and to promote effective and comprehensive implementation of national defence tasks in Latgale region.
