Military training will take place in the municipality of Rēzekne Lūznavas and Ozolaines

From 10 to 11 August, the Latvian National Guard 3 will be held in the district of Rezekne and Ozolaines parish. The 36 th battle of Latgale Brigade supports the pre-planned training of professional service soldiers using military vehicles.

The soldier training programme envisages both maintaining the skills acquired so far and acquiring new skills for strengthening the fighting capabilities of the unit. The training will involve approximately 30 soldiers who will move through shared and forest roads through military vehicles. No ammunition or simulation features will be used to carry out the training tasks.

National Guard 3. In Latgale Brigade, the military training process of the militia and soldiers is organised continuously throughout the year, performing various tactical tasks during both summer and winter periods. During regular scheduled training, the national guardsmen shall improve their readiness to protect the National Guard Unit's responsibility areas and to improve their capacity.
