The municipality of Rezekne is involved in an international project

Nine of the 102 applications supported by the European Commission in March 2009 are supported by nine. From these three projects as partners, organisations from Latvia - Ventspils International writers and translators' house, Latvian literature centre, association “cultural and art project NOAH” and the municipality of Rezekne are also involved.

The municipality of Rezekne, as a partner, participates in the “art farers” project. In its activities from each project Member State - Slovenia, Spain, Greece and Latvia - five teachers-artists will be involved. The exchange visits of participants in the project will take place in each partner country. Five volunteers from Latvia will travel to Greece, but five volunteers from Spain will be present in Latvia.
