The municipality of Rezekne informs the local government regarding the possibility to apply for free industrial self-consumption fishing limits in the waters of the municipality of Rezekne
In accordance with Paragraph 1.2 of the Law No. 5 of the municipality of Rezekne of 15 September 2011, regarding the procedures for the allocation of industrial fishing limits in the municipality of Rezekne, in order to be able to engage in industrial fishing in the territory of the municipality of Rezekne, it is necessary to enter into a lease contract of industrial fishing rights with the local government, as well as Section 2.2 - the submission for the following calendar year shall be submitted by the person by 1 October of the current year.
Whereas the demand for fishing licences has not exceeded the fixed fishing limit (laid down in Cabinet Regulation No 796), it is possible to obtain a licence for fishing nets or traps for industrial self-consumption 2023..
In accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 790, “Regulations regarding the use of fishing rights in private waters” - using fishing rights in private waters shall comply with the requirements of the laws and regulations which determine the procedures for industrial fishing and fishing, storming and underwater hunting, except in the laws and regulations regarding the leasing of water bodies and industrial fishing rights and the procedures for the utilisation of fishing rights, which apply to the lease of water bodies, therefore owners of private waters are also invited to submit submissions.
In order to obtain a right to enter into a lease of fishing rights, in the territory of the municipality of Rezekne in 2023, a person must submit a submission to the municipalities of the municipality of Rezekne or in the administration of the municipality of Rezekne until 1 March 2023.
