“Spring Cup” in Rēzekne District at a table tennis for young people
In order to promote a table tennis school in youth and promote co-operation with other leisure athletes, the Rēzekne municipality, in cooperation with the TABLE tennis club “Rebirs sports” (Rezekne) in Rēzekne municipality in Dricans on 19 April, organized the “spring bucket” of Rezekne in a table tennis for young people. There were 31 participants in the competition (13 girls and 18 boys) - from Rezekne municipality, Rēzekne City, Viļānu municipality, Jçkabpils and Preiļi. The Rēzekne District was represented by players from Dricāniem, Kaunatas, Tiskados, McKashans.
In the boy group, it is a 1 st place in an intense fight with a score of 3: 2 Dennis Vasilyev (Rezekne) overtook Reini Aņisovich (Rezekne), who won 2 nd place, while in 3 rd place was Jçkabpils sports school student Krišjannis Stankevics. In the group of young people, the highest result from the Rezekne municipality was reached by Tiskada High School student Ganadijs Kvasovs, who won 5 th place.
The organisers of the event express gratitude to the parents of the participants and to the management of the school, which makes it possible to ensure the participation of athletes in competitions. Special thanks TO Dricānu for secondary school and judges.
