Rēzekne novada celebrates the 99 th birthday of the Republic of Latvia

Work, love and faith - these three words have kept the Latvian people together, protecting it from the destruction of foreign powers, surviving its language and culture, keeping its soul. Finally, these three values have helped our people to fight their freedom and national independence. With this idea this year, on 18 November, a road to the centuries of the Republic of Latvia was launched, which will be celebrated only next year, but the people of Latvia are invited to remember this whole year and rebuild values that have helped to survive, values on which our people can build a strong and prosperous country. Also, the residents of Rezekne municipality, on the evening of the 99 th anniversary of the Latvian state proclamation, gathered together to the solemn event AT Bērzgales parish culture house, in order to think about these values, to remember Latvia's path to independence, as well as to honor them to the people of Latvia whose professionalism, integrity, creativity and activity are based on the growth and prosperity of the Latvian state.
In the solemn speech, everyone was welcomed by the Vice-President of the Rēzekne District Council, Elman Pizāne, to the country and the people of its people, with peace, happiness and prosperity.
“If we can negotiate among ourselves, in order to achieve our prosperity, our country's growth to be rich in order to be calm, we must live in partnership and mutual respect for each other. Officials and politicians must be humane to the people, officials against their subordinates, children against parents, parents against children. And if we respect each other and do our strong family, we will also be strong in our country. In this festival, i wish you to be strong in your spirit, remember that Latvia, that is the land that is the most beautiful of all the lands in the world, that we must protect it with honour and respect! '
The Rēzekne municipality's highest award – a recognition article – was presented in six nominations of Rezekne Municipality in six nominations – public activity, education, science, sports, work in local government, economy and economy, health care, social work and culture. This award was received by teachers, doctors, local government employees, cultural employees, entrepreneurs, together with Latvian bank collection coins. They were greeted by friends, relatives, colleagues.

Rēzekne Municipality - Rēzekne municipality - “Ezerland” (conductors Anda Lipska, Eriks Chudars), the performances of THE average generation of “Cousuls” in Vērēmu parish parish, while a special festival surprise was the performance of the popular ethnography group “Economics”.
On 18 November, the solemn events took place in all 25 parish counties of Rezekne. The people gathered on a festive service, a concert, a torch procession, but as a birthday, a festive cake was enjoyable, where 100 candles had to be sprinkled next year!
