An educational opportunity exhibition “education and career 2023” will be held in Rezekne municipality
The tradition of regional professional and higher education institutions' exhibition “education and careers” has become a tradition in Rezekne, which invites and offers students of classes 8-12 and other stakeholders, together with school representatives, to meet and learn more about vocational and higher education opportunities, meet school representatives, other young people, as well as choose their possible future profession and study place together.
The exhibition will be held at the premises of the municipality of Rezekne (Rezekne, Liberation Alliance 95A) from at 10.00 to 15.00
More than 20 professional and higher education institutions from all Latvia will be expected to attend the exhibition: Rēzekne Technology Academy, Rezekne Technical School, LBT Malnava College, Jçkabpils agrobusiness college Barkava unit, University of Latvia P.Stradins medical college, Rēzekne Art and Design Secondary School, Latvian biosciences and technology university, Secondary schools of Rezekne, Latgale Industrial Technique, Ogre Technical School, Daugavpils University, Jānis Ivanova Rēzekne High School, Baltic International Academy, Riga Aeronautical Institute, Smiltene Technique, State Border Guard College, Latvian University, Riga Technical University, Valmiera Technical School, Buldura Horticulture Secondary School, Employment State Agency, Study Centre BUTS and other representatives.
In educational institutions, young people will be able to meet both teachers and students, learn what learning and study programmes are offered by each of the institutions, which are the conditions for admission and the speciality to be obtained. The exhibition will receive advice, information materials and participate in various activities.
Visitors are waiting for exhibition participants' presentations, various types of competitions, “Latgale repa Princess”, and meeting with so tok stars Andrejko. Ept, as well as a seminar for young people in partnership with Swedbank.
The exhibition of educational opportunities has been organised by a businessman in Rezekne since 2010 and will be held for the tenth time this year. Entrepreneurs constantly support various types of initiatives in collaboration with youth organisations and educational institutions, taking part in a career week, providing traineeships to students.
Education and career exhibition is the most important exhibition of this kind in Latgale region. It is a great opportunity for young people to obtain useful information about future study opportunities in both Latgale and Latvia if it is not possible to attend an exhibition “School” organised by the international exhibition company BT1 or open door day events in educational institutions. The exhibitions have been visited annually by several hundred young people not only from Rezekne but also by other municipalities.
Annual exhibitions are supported by newspapers “Panorama Rezekne” and “Rezekne Ambassador”, radio EF – EI, two shores radio and portal “Rezekne news”.
