New border signs for Rezekne municipality
On October 14, the new Rēzeknes border signs were installed. The design of the border signs was developed by the architect Didzis Jaunlow, the designer of the Rēzekne municipality, and the signs were produced by the Metal Project. The signs are now installed on the highway in Rusenica, Vonogow, and on the highway at 12 Stolbovka, in the direction of Ludza.
The municipality of Rezekne was created by artist Daina's straw. The logo is composed of a combination of the stylisation of the solar sign and the computer's mother plate. The philosophy of the logo is based on the municipality as an administrative-geographical area with its past and future.
The article consists of points and lines, and is like a stylised ornament from a map of the municipality – graphic grubbing fields, river and road network lines surrounded by populated areas. The logo article symbolically brings together the outlook of the past and growth of the past. The legacy of the past comes from his mother's villaine, as the story is based on the structure of the points, which is patrolled from the motive of the sun in THE 19 th century IN the villaine of THE 19 th century, thus symbolizing the basis of our life – the virtues and support of the ancestors. In turn, connecting these points with the lines, along with the mother's villains, also obtain the mother's plate, in complex electronic systems, which indicate the direction of development of the municipality – to organise and administer processes with modern technology and through highly educated and professional people, ensuring sustainable growth. The visual form of the mother plate shows the similarity with the satellite maps of the municipality.
Similarly, in 2017, the logo of the municipality was registered in the Latvian Patent Office, including the national design register and certifying its uniqueness.
The logo elements are used in all the materials, gifts, municipal congratulations of the Rezekne municipality.
