AT Stoļerovas, students of the Central School of Rezne, teachers and Stoļerovas parish counselors gathered in the house so that the musical literary event “Meikuls Apos – a teacher who lived in Latgale” would recall the life stages of the former Latgale teacher and the contribution to the melting of Latgale cultural heritage.
He had the opportunity to explore the role of Mayula Apeal (1901-1942) in the history of Rēzne's primary school, to look at the great Latgale husband's childhood, dreams of his home and the fulfillment of his dreamy dream. The museum of the school contains material on the life, literary and public activities of the Emperor.
The event started with the anthem of Rēzne's primary school, “Valsis Rēznas pamatskolai School” (Vladislava Vilimovich music and words). A great deal of emphasis was devoted to Mayor Apeel's performance as a Latgalian cultural worker who WAS XX.
