Establishment and development of community-based social service infrastructure in the municipality OF Rēzekne Municipality Viļānu

Commencement of design works for the development of public-based social services infrastructure in Castle Street 2B, Viļānos, Rezekne nov. (project No 9.3.1.1/18/I/030)

On August 10, 2022, the municipality of Rezekne, with SIA “Campaign”, concluded a contract for design and authority monitoring, which will result in two construction projects:

• “The construction of a day care centre and workshops in a castle street 2B, Viļānos, Rezekne municipality”;
• “Building of group apartments in a large street 2B, Viļānos, Rezekne municipality”.

Work on design and technical regulations is currently under way. It is planned that the marks regarding fulfilment of the design conditions will be received during the first quarter of the following year and the procurement procedure regarding the performance of construction works has been commenced immediately.

The implementation of the project is carried out in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 871 of 20 December 2016, Section 9.3.1. of the specific support objective of the operational programme “Growth and Employment” “to develop a service infrastructure for the care of children in the family environment and for the independent living and integration of persons with disabilities in society” in Section 9.3.1.1 “Development of service infrastructure for the implementation of deinstitutionalisation plans”, implementing rules for the first and second selection of project applications ”.
