Growing quail growing is becoming more popular in the world. Currently, there are approximately 10 holdings in Latvia and their eggs are grown in Latvia. The production of this valuable product has also been launched in Rēzekne Municipality Sakstagala parish farm “fox”. The owners Ivan and Ingrida Kornuta have created a quail farm where there is approximately one thousand Estonian varieties at the time. The farm collects around 200-300 quail eggs per day. The landlord Ivan told him that the quail eggs had been tasted by a friend who grew up for their own consumption several years ago. When they learned about the excellent value of the little egg, they started to eat them regularly. During these years, the problem of blood pressure has been reduced, less sick with respiratory disease and cold, improved self-sensation and metabolism. Then they decided they could grow their quail and get valuable eggs. Have started to be interested in growing quails on the Internet and other media. At the beginning of that year, after his experience, he had traveled to the Stoppy District, where kindly quail growers were willing to share their bird-keeping experience.

The first quail-growing cage, feeding, drinking vessel, and, of course, quail eggs for incubation was brought from the Stopians. With that, the end of the bag was open. Then everything went very fast. In the wood-processing shop of the same holding, cages were made for the holding of birds. In a cake where there had been no inhabitants for several years, the activity began. The landlords are very grateful to the neighbour John Prizheim – a boy with gold hands, who built the central heating, ventilation system, until each quail cage was fitted with water-wires, cages equipped with the necessary lighting and temperature regulators. The cellar was adapted for the storage of eggs. All took place in a few months and a PVD authorisation for the disposal of quail eggs was received in June.

The quails are very small - they weigh about 180 grams and have a length of not more than 20 cm, but their eggs are weighed only 12 grams. First quail eggs are delicious. Of_course, there is no dispute, but many believe that the quail eggs are more delicious than the eggs of the chicken. Quail eggs can be cept, cooked, cooked, roasted, pickled. They are used in cooking, preparation of different meals, as well as dried salad or warm food. However, in the case of quail eggs, they should be noted for their nutritional value: in the small, red-coloured, concentrated form, many people need biologically active substances that increase the body tone, strengthen bones, regulate prostate activity, assist in the functioning of the heart, liver, kidney, stomach, pancreas and other organs, stimulate metabolism, do not contain cholesterol. Quail eggs are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids. For example, the vitamin content in quail eggs exceeds the chicken eggs 2.5 times, the iron content is 4.5 times, and the amount of phosphorus and potassium 5 times. These are hypoallergens. If you or your child are allergic to chicken eggs, it is worth thinking about replacing them with the use of quail eggs in food because they do not only cause allergies but instead contain proteins that inhibit allergic reactions. In addition, quail eggs have never been infected with the hazardous bacteria, salmonella, as the body temperature of the quails is 42 degrees, while the salmonella bacterium is killed at this temperature. The eggs are therefore not to be used in fresh form. Another very important argument in favour of quail eggs is that they contribute to the mental capacity of children. There is even a mandatory daily consumption in Japan – 2-3 quail eggs determined by one of the main laws in the country! Who knows, perhaps that is why Japan is now one of the most developed countries in the world?

The farm housekeeper Ingrida noted that the growing of quails is a costly joy, which requires much investment and attention. Local grain - wheat and barley are kept for the feeding of birds and one third of special compound feed is added. Quails are warmth-loving birds. The chickens must have a heat of up to 37 degrees, not less than 20 degrees in laying birds. In the winter period, quails can only be kept in heating rooms. The incubation period for quail eggs is 17 days, after 2 months of quail is already started, the production period is approximately one year. However, despite considerable costs and aware of the value of this product for health and well-being, the owners themselves have completely abandoned the chicken eggs and currently want to encourage other people to encourage and encourage these unique eggs to be included in their menu.

In the home of Ivana and Infloor, the eggs of quail are baked in “bullet”, omelets with different additives, used in the preparation of sandwiches, added to a variety of salad, used in fresh form (particularly healthy!), in cocktail preparation. When the children grew up at home: son Valerie with a second half of Diana and daughter Karin with a friend, a variety of recipes are being tested on the ground, using quail eggs and quail meat. The favourites are cocktails, the addition of fresh eggs, different salad (in practically all lettuce eggs can be replaced by quail eggs, only they are more effective in a more effective way but cut to the sides). Quail hats and grilling are baked, as most of the hatched Gailes are grown for only 2 months. Egg shell is also not thrown out. They are washed, dried and ground in coffee mills. Powdered shell powder, in small quantities, can be added to any food that does not damage food flavour, but is a very valuable source of calcium and is easily absorbed into the body.

ZS “fox” quail eggs are delivered to Rezekne's restaurant Rosalie, the coffee shop “Marie coffee”. Eggs are also offered to other local caterers who experiment and produce food recipes during the given period, including quail eggs. The eggs are bought by local Sakstagala inhabitants and further quail enthusiasts. It is possible to purchase eggs every day in the “Rēzekne Central Market” area. You can also call the owner Ivanam t .29439402 and agree on the delivery of valuable eggs.
