Jānis Laizāns, Head of the Head of the Silverish parish administration
We have already reported that at the end of May, as the head of the Maltese parish association Silmalas parish, the head of the Silverwood parish was closed, so by 18 June, the residents of Silmalas parish had the opportunity to apply for candidates for the post of the next parish administration. The population's responsiveness was large – various suggestions were received, most of which – eight e-mail, as well as a written letter with 63 signatures – expressed support for the role of the head of the municipality of Latvia, Janis Laizāns.
According to the tender regulations, the applicant's candidates were required to submit a description of the professional activity (CV), a letter of motivation, copies of documents certifying education, a possible development plan of the territory of Silmalas parish and an operational programme of the Silverish parish administration. Only Jānis Laizāns did this at the time, so his candidature as the only one was directed to the next stage of the competition – a written test of knowledge (test), an evaluation of the operational programme and an interview. The Commission unanimously supported Mr Lebanon's candidacy, and On 22 June, he was appointed as head of the Government of Silmalas parish.
John Lebanon is a warm-malian. After graduating from the primary school of crutches and the High School of Malta, he obtained the specialisation of mechanics in the State Vianity Agricultural Technique. Later, at the Malnava college, he received 1 st level professional higher education with qualification “entrepreneurship specialists in agriculture”.
In 2003 Janis Laizāns started working in the Silverland parish administration, initially as an excavator manager and grader, but from 2018 as the manager of the communal farm. Since 2005, there is also a parish Member of the Commission. Jānis Laizāns also operates on his farm “Līčupe”.
“As an executive officer of the parish administration and the manager of the communal housekeeper, i have started work on a number of projects that are necessary in the near future,“ said Janis Laizāns. “Construction of the basic school of cops for the needs of the cultural house and library, the creation and improvement of the recreational site in the village of Shtikana, the cleaning of the degraded area in the village of Rwanda (dismantling of the collapsed building), the asphalting of the Stikana village meadow, the restoration of the pond street cover,” the manager of the neighborhood listed the nearest works.
Jānis Laizāns also said that a working group was already formed, working on the creation of the parish symbolism: “I believe that the Silamalas logo must be the Maltese River, through the entire parish area, as well as pine trees, because the name itself reports that sils is a pine forest.”
The new manager does not conceal that there are many areas in the parish where “hand-to-hand” is “to be applied”, but the problem solving does not frighten him: “the manager must be actively involved in parish life, as well as motivating citizens to act, looking for new ideas and opportunities to develop both family holdings and businesses and the whole parish as a whole.”
