Students are familiar with the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector

On 13 February, a career development support event was held at the Dricana Secondary School for classes 7-12 “my future career in ICT”, the event notika project No. 8.3.5.0/16/I/001 “career support in general and vocational education institutions”. Students from Classes 7-12 of the Dricanu Secondary School, Studies 7-9 of the Nautre Secondary School, as well as pupils from non-project schools – the 7 th-9 th grade school students of the New Jerusalem and Gaigalava primary schools participated in the event.
The content of the event was provided by Ventspils High Technology Park unit “Kurzeme Democentrs”, which offered young people an active, exciting, knowledgeable and interesting adventure, introducing the world of technology. Students were offered a conversation on ICT professions, providing information on the diversity of professional professions, raising awareness of career opportunities in this sector. Young people also received information on future education opportunities IN THE field OF ICT, while the highest student interest was earned by demonstration and practical interaction of ict sector enterprise products with interactive exhibits in technical workshops:

Time was spent in the event, with interest and new, necessary knowledge, so that each of them would assess the importance of the profession of information and communication technology in the world of modern professions. Both the student and teachers' assessment of the event was very positive.
