This year “church night” will be watched live

The organisers of “church night” call for a live broadcast of the event on May 30, following the “church night” account on Facebook. The official opening of “church night” will begin at 18.00 from Sigulda Jesus's heart of Roman Catholic Church. In the course of the evening, live shows will also be seen from other gods. The evening is dedicated to meeting the festival of Christian Church, Vasarfestival, to participate in prayer for Latvia, Europe and the world.
Although the normal course of “church night” is not possible in the present year due to the exceptional situation in the country, everyone is welcome to follow the event on Saturday evening, on the screen of their computer, telephone, or tablet, using #Bazn EcuNakts2020.

It is recalled that the objective of limiting the spread of Covid-19 infection in Latvia was announced on 12 March, which will be in force until 9 June and during which various restrictions have been imposed. We call on everyone to comply with the precautionary measures announced and the rules on the face-to-face assembly.
On the cultural event “church night”
This year “church night” will be held in Latvia for the Seventh year and is organised jointly by the Latvian Christian Confessions. The event has become a spiritual cultural experience in Latvia's life, bringing together more than 100 gods each year, where visitors are invited to explore the church, its cultural and spiritual values through various events. In recent years, the “church night” event also joins Latvian congregations outside Latvia, which contributes to strengthening the spiritual and cultural values of the Latvian diaspora.
