The best veteran volleyball teams have been identified in an intense struggle.

For several years IN THE parish OF Nautrēnu, a cup of cup in volleyball veterans is held. This year, four women's teams (Rēzekne High Schools, Varakalans, Maltas and Adamovas Joint Command and Nautrēnu team) took part in the cup, while the men had five teams (Nautrēni, Varakalans, Malta, LTP-Rēzekne municipality and Bērzgales team). In both women and men, the teams were very similar. After several consecutive games between women's teams, the 1 st place was ranked by a team of Nautrēnu, the 2 nd place was won by the Rēzekne Higher School team, while the 3 rd place was ranked by the Varakalans team. In men's competition: 1 st place – LTP - Rēzekne municipality, 2 nd place – Bērzgales veterans and 3 rd place in Maltas team.
The best players of each team were also evaluated in the course of the competition. Women's teams were recognised as the best: Christine Dzierkale (Nautrēni), Sarmite Ancheva (Rēzekne Higher School), Baiba Lutere (Varakalans), Christine Crimes (Malta). Among the men, Peteris Gudriks (Malta), Janis Lubka (Nautrēni), Edgars Razberajevs (Ltp - Rēzekne municipality), Andris Razelajevs (LTP - Rezekne municipality). The best players received the sponsor – the artist Jānis Lubkas and the Z/S “birch groves” owner Evita Šķesteres – the rusty prizes.
