3 September 2018 at 14:30 In the Rēzekne Technology Academy, 115 will show the opening of the international exhibition “reality, goodness, patience in art” (the art of Zhen Shan Ren). The exhibition talks about the good and evil, the beauty of the human inner world and the tragedy of human rights violations that are still going on in China.
The exhibition will be held from 3 September to 6 October 2018.
Since July 2004, the international exhibition “reality, goodness, patience in art” has been exhibited more than 1000 times and has travelled more than 50 countries around the world. This time, after a long break in Latvia, the exhibition will be seen in Latgale's heart - Rezekne.
The essence of every piece of art is the reality, the goodness and patience, the universality that forms the basis of humanity. The artists are inspired by these principles, desiring to return to traditional art forms and create more than just beautiful art.
The author and inspiration of the artistic idea of the collection of works of art is one of the most familiar Chinese sculptors – Professor Jan Kuņluņs. Despite his great contribution to the development of his People's art, the artist has been persecuted and has witnessed the brutal violence campaign of the Chinese Communist regime, directed against ancient Chinese meditation and self-improvement practices in Faluņong, also known as Faluan Dafah.
Professor Jan Kuņun says, “our art comes from pure heart, and our work reflects our own experience. The art is capable of significantly influencing people's thoughts and has a direct link to the human morality and how they interact. '
The artists have created this exhibition work in a collection of realistic style oil paintings and traditional Chinese art techniques, emphasising the simplicity and clarity of the pictures shown in the painting. In their artistic efforts they seek higher wisdom and truth, praise the divine and affect the question of the interaction between good and evil. The exhibition will cover art works by artists – Professor Jan Kuņluņs, Chang Sjaopin, Ketlin Gilis (Canada), Professor dun Sjicjans, Van Weisjina, Chen Jenpina, Amy Li (USA), Li Yuan (Japan) and Joa Jichiou, Guige, Sjui Juipei (Taiwan), this Tinjina, Cjin Sjina, Li Ben, Van Jin (China).
Exhibition organisers: Baltic Faluņong and Faluan Dafah association and association “apskaidrotā art”.
