Aivars Lukša, the head of the parish administration of Stoļerovas

On August 26, an evaluation of the applicants in the municipality of Rēzekne was held for the vacant position of the head of the parish administration of Stoļerovas. Although four candidates were nominated at the meeting of 17 August – Valentina Arbidane, Aivars Luca, Edgars Paškovs and Nathalie Kowalevska – only two of them – Valentina Arbidane and Aivars Lukasis – agreed to participate in the next round of the competition.

In the competition to THE position of the HEAD of Administration OF Stoļerovas parish, the Commission assessed both the lifetime descriptions, motivation letters and Stoļerovas rural development programmes submitted by applicants, as well as the answers to the test questions regarding regulatory enactments regulating the work of the local government, the organisation of procurement, the prevention of conflicts of interest, the implementation of projects, as well as the general knowledge of THE parish of Stoļerovas and the Rēzekne municipality. Aivars Lukša, whose candidature is being directed at the meeting of the Territorial Permanent Committee on 8 September, is a joint assessment with the highest number of points.

Aivars Lukšam is a masters degree of Latvian Agricultural University in the speciality of forestry engineer. Since 1999 he has worked in the National Forest Service in various posts, including the last four years as an engineer of the Eastern Latvian Forestry Engineering in hunting. Aivars Lukaša stressed that he was not afraid of dealing with economic issues, nor the attraction of the European Union and the various other projects of the European Union, so that the parish could do more than is permitted by the budgetary resources in its work, the future manager will seek to achieve the activity of all parish citizens: “it is necessary to find key people who want to engage themselves and take up others. I am a patriot of my parish and county, so i believe that we will be able to contribute to the further growth of the parish."

As previously reported, a new Stoļerovas parish manager is being searched because the former manager Vitalijs Muravskis turns into a council with a submission to free him from work after his own election.
