Festival Bērzgales in Manor
On the afternoon of 16 September, children and guests gathered IN Bērzgales in the courtyard to celebrate the 140 anniversary of THE Bērzgales manor.
Within the framework of the European Heritage Days, in collaboration with THE Lūznavas manor collective, a gift to the manor was held – a concert with self-house and guest-educated participation.
In preparation for the festival, the children of the children worked hard to get the visitors to meet.
The concert was celebrated and welcomed by the homes - Bērzgales folklore singers.
THE Lūznavas manor dance group was pleased with ancient dances, including Bērzgales frames.
The next road was the Setesdal dance group from the Aust-Agder district in Norway. The guests were pleased with their specific songs and dances that would soon be included in THE UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.
The guests from the Alūksne side – the dance group “confusion” and the Jaunlaicenes folklore set “Putnis”, inherited the audience's responsiveness with a song-dance performance of life at the beginning of the 20 th century in the city, events in the market crack and a railway station.
At the end of the event, the members of the dance group “Jiga” exhibited the clothing brand “Mayra”.
Before the home, they stood in the courtyard of the manor, enjoying the soup and sharing their impressions and emotions about the autumn nice day.
After five years of loneliness, the manor seemed to be “reviving”, seeing so much in the beginning of the 20 th century. I wish the manor to wait for his “prince in the golden horse”, who would give it a new resurrection.
