In Preilos, a meeting of employees OF Latgale WAS held on 19 February. The work already done and done this year was discussed.
Participation in Balttour 2019 exhibition Riga was evaluated at the meeting. Good reviews have been received about the interesting and original solution of this year's Latgale stand and its technical design, which provided quality work for it. THE employees discussed further work on international tourism fairs in Berlin, Minsk, Poland, on participation in the tourism fair in Madona and in the artisanal museum in Riga.
Opinions were expressed on each of the possible usefulness of foreign media, bloggers, TV visits (Sweden, Dutch bloggers, Estonian TV, journalists from Lithuania and Estonia, Russian video bloggers etc.)
Vēl tika apspriestas turpmāk veicamās aktivitātes Latgales partnerību kopprojektā “EURO velo11”  -  gan projekta atklāšanas pasākums, gan darbs pie norāžu marķēšanas un citi jautājumi. Eiro velo maršruts nr. 11 savieno Nordkapu Ziemeļos un Atēnas dienvidos. Eiropas kartēs tas ir iezīmēts, nomarķēts, vienīgi Latgales posms bija palicis nesakārtots. Beidzot arī partnerību kopprojekta rezultātā sakārtosies mūsu reģiona posms. Projekts ir iesniegts uz izskatīšanu.
The subject of discussion was also the volume of the Latgale tourism booklet, the technical solution, the amount of information to be inserted, the information to be prepared for issuance thereof, the photo etc., as well as the attraction of potential packers.
Tourism professionals discussed the Latgale Tourism Regional Association (LTRA) “Ezerland” project - activities to be included in the development and promotion of Latgale rural tourism services, involvement of partners, marketing, as well as other industry-related developments.
In the course of the meeting, colleagues congratulated Preiles ON the 20 th anniversary of the establishment of the Premier District Tourism Information Centre.
