In the second quarter of 2017, the implementation of the “Inventory of Inventory OF THE LEADER” project of the municipality of Rezekne was launched (the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 of the LATVIAN rural Development Programme 2014-2020) announced in the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. “Implementation of the action under a community-led local development strategy” in activity 19.2.2. “Place potential development initiatives”).
Projekta mērķis bija veicināt Ūdenstūrisma attīstības centra "Bāka" piedāvāto bezmaksas pakalpojumu attīstību, uzlabojot jau esošo infrastruktūru - papildinot publiskā interneta piekļuves punkta sniegtās iespējas un izveidojot jaunu iespēju putnu un dabas izzināšanā, iegādājoties daudzfunkcionālo lāzerprinteri, spoguļkameru, binokļus un sauszemes teleskopu. Projekta kopējais budžets 4486.84 Eur (ar PVN), tai skaitā ES finansējums 90% jeb 4038.15 Eur, pašvaldības līdzfinansējums – 448.69 Eur. Projekts tika realizēts no 08.2017 līdz 08.2018.

Sākot ar 2024. gada maiju ŪTAC “BĀKA” ir pieejams bezmaksas inventārs: binokļi un sauszemes teleskops.
