VACANCY: Director of the Franz Trassa Museum “Colnasate”

The municipality of Rēzekne, Sakstagala parish administration, announces an open competition to the position of the Director of the “Colnasate” Museum of Franz Trassa. Tenderers until 9 October 2015, at 12.00 shall be submitted in the parish administration OF Sakstagala application questionnaire, a copy of a copy of the certificate of life (curriculum vitae), a copy of the document certifying higher education, as well as a tender for the development of THE activities of THE Sakstagala parish, “Colnasate”, drawn up by the applicant for five years, indicating the ways and means of implementation thereof.
Requirements for applicants:
A person may be the director of the “Colnasate” museum of the parish “Colnasate” OF Sakstagala parish:

•  who has obtained higher academic or vocational training;
• which has the highest degree of knowledge of the national language of the Republic of Latvia and a good foreign language;
• possess knowledge and understanding of the activities and functions of the museum;
• excellent cooperation and communication skills;
• good work organizer and management skills;
• good reputation.

The conformity of applicants with THE position of the Director of the “Colnasate” museum of THE parish of Sakstagala parish “Kolnasat” will be assessed by an evaluation by the Commission of 1 TP18T parish administration. The evaluation will take place in two stages.
Round I – selection of applicants;
Round II – interview.
A candidate who has obtained the highest assessment of the Commission shall approve the parish administration of Sakstagala by co-ordinating the candidature in the Latvian Museum Council (Paragraph 11 of the Museum Law). If the Commission rejects the assessment of all tenderers, a new tender shall be opened.
Franz Trassa's museum “Colnasate” was founded in 1992 to preserve and promote the memorial of the great Latgale clerk, politician, cultural and social worker Franz Tradog, his family and the newspapers.
