Vērēmu parish realizes the camp project “ksu trokuok, tu lobuok”
The active recreational camp in summer is a great opportunity for young people to spend their free time, acquire new knowledge and develop communication skills. This was the possibility of Vērēmu parish for the most active young people, taking part in the summer camp “ku trokuok, tu lobuok”, which was organised thanks to the support of the Rēzekne municipality.
The young people spent three days in camp from July 28 to 30, living in the guest house “Azarrosti”, which is located at Lake Adamowa. 15 Vērēmu parish young people participated in the camp. In three days, young people were not only sporting but also creative in playing various hunting and familiarisation games. The most young people were interested in a photo contest, the subject of which was the name of the camp, “ksu trokuok, tou lobuok”.
During these three days, young people enjoyed a variety of extreme sports and acquired new skills in the woods. Direct-orientation was the highest test for young people, as they had to use pre-acquired knowledge as well as to withstand summer hot swells. The camp participants also learned the shooting skills they tested in the Jansaples woods in the shooting gallery. The final test was a peintball who was not only joy but also a few bruises in the . However, the participants of the camp were pleased with the time spent and the knowledge gained and hoped to repeat this experience next year.
