Health Promotion Festival in Lendes
On July 19, from 16.00 to 21.00 The municipality of Rezekne is invited by the municipality to bring the population to a healthy lifestyle inquiry at the “Health Facilitation Festival” in Lendes.
Within the festival, a movement area will be opened in Lendžu eworking area, where it will be possible to both actively participate and participate as a viewer, presenting various movement activities – zumbs, cigars, classic aerobics lessons, as well as watching demonstration of street gymnastics.

Physiotherapist Kaspars Lochmelis, the physiotherapist Kaspars Lochmelis, will provide practical advice on the maintenance of physical and mental health, while the “Maa room” of the art therapy centre Kristine Pastare, Laura Danilāne and Simon Orinsky will present examples of art, music, dance and motion therapy in the field of health promotion. The message of how to maintain natural balance and inner peace through flowers will be provided by the Baha flower specialist Lilita Kalniņa.
In a healthy dietary class, together with the real Latvian businessman Ilzi deer and “sauna school” masters, Nauri zuti will have the opportunity to reveal the diversity of the strong putrs and their significance in the formation of balanced diet in Latvia's territory from the Middle Age.
During the event, the participants of the group “baritoni” will be shared with the story of a healthy lifestyle, concluding the first day of the festival. 21.00 with a valuable prize, including bicycle, lottery and performances.
A TV personality and an emerging coach, Ansis Klintsons, will take care of the visitor's fashion and the festival's smooth running.
We are informed that visitors of the festival will have the opportunity to find out their blood group and check the overall state of health by donating blood to the national blood donor centre at the time of the Rēzekne branch. 17.00 to 20.00
It is reminded that the festival is intended as a two-day event with two different parishes of Rezekne municipality. The festival's second day activities will take place on July 20 AT Kaunatā, Kaunatas in the secondary school area, from 12.00 to 17:00.
The Health Promotion Festival is organised within THE framework of ESF project 9.2.4.2/16/I/027 “live healthy in Rezekne District!” and its activities focus on public awareness, education, development of personal skills, behavioural change and the development of healthy lifestyles, which contribute to the development of a healthy society.
