Green manor (Zaļmuiža)
A Zaļmuiža with his legendary past. At the beginning of the 19th century, one of the most prominent of Latgale, poet, peasant rights defender Pīters Miglinīks (1850 – 1883) worked as a writer. In 1784, it belonged to Fridriham fon Korfam, then in 1795 Zaļmuiža was bought by the Russian Army officer Nikolajs Paulins fon Rozenšilds, whose grandson was a civil advisor to the Russian Senate. The estate had a large farm, 800 ha of land, several livestock cakes, fruit and wine cellar, alcohol brushes. From the ancient Zaļmuiža honesty, the living building of Mr. Manor had been rebuilt, as well as a half-sunken tree. Until the 20th century. In the 60 s, there was a colhoza “flame” centre in the house, later a club. Now there is an artist, a foundry Jānis Lubka.
