Water tourism center “Bāka”

In the territory of the Water Tourism Center "Bāka", two stands have been installed with tourist information about the Rēzekne region and the surroundings of Lake Lubāna. It is possible to receive free tourist information, maps and guides about the tourism offer in the vicinity of Lake Lubāna, as well as about the tourism opportunities of Rēzekne, Rēzekne municipality and Latgale region, in the interior of the center during working hours.

Residents and guests are invited to use the facilities offered by "Bāka" - the well-maintained beach, tent and picnic areas, tennis and volleyball courts with tennis rackets, volleyballs, camper and trailer spaces, viewing area on the roof terrace, exhibition hall, accommodation, as well as rooms for organizing educational seminars, events. Rowing boats and SUP board rentals, fishing, Wi-Fi are available in the center. Water tourism center "Bāka" was created by the municipality of Rēzekne region by implementing project no. LLI – 010 "Sustainable tourism development in the vicinity of Kupiški lagoon (Lithuania) and Lake Lubāns (Latvia)". Funding for the improvement of the surroundings and construction works was attracted from the Latvian-Lithuanian cross-border cooperation program for 2007-2013. The main goal of the project was to create an attractive environment and surroundings in the vicinity of Lake Lubān for both local residents and visitors.

From 1 April to 30 November: from Wednesday to Sunday every day 10.00 - 18.00 (closed on Monday, Tuesday)
From December 1 to March 31: from Wednesday to Sunday every day 10.00 - 16.00 (closed on Monday, Tuesday)
