“VILNIUS MARKET” resumes operation
On July 11, the traditional monthly Viļānu market is resumed from 7.00-14.00. On the second Sunday of each month, as usual, Viļānos will take place on street trade. Certain streets are allocated to traders in individual product groups. Food – Raina Street; craftsmen – flowers street; industry – central street; plants, animals – Raina street along stadium; used goods, parts – stadium.
Trade participants shall only sign in writing by sending a copy to e-mail: tirgus@vilani.lv The alignment shall include:
- Properties: name, surname/firm name; p.k/reg. No./; address; phone No.
- Product group: food/industry/plant/used p ./amatniec p ./dz/etc.
- Electricity: yes/no
- Metric: 3/6/9/12/15... m (if necessary, including a place for transport)
By 8 July each trader will receive the approval and the trading venue/u numbers in writing.
We call for attention to be paid to:
- One trading venue is 3 m x 4 m (two 6 x 4 m, three 9 x 4 m...). Trade takes place on one side of the street.
- THE car, tents, the tables are BANNED in the Green Zone!
- Arrival at noon 6.00;
- Trade IS PERMITTED only in areas agreed by administrators.
- It is prohibited to participate in trade in persons with acute respiratory diseases or which have a certain self-insulation. Each trade participant shall be responsible for his or her trade area – the placement of directions, the observance of distance, the use of the disinfectant and compliance with other regulatory requirements!
THE Viļānu market is one of THE distinguishing marks OF Viļānu. To buy and sell the wickers on the second Sunday of each month, it has been gathered since 1 May 1993. Because of the pandemic constraints, the market did not exist, but it has resumed its activities.
