list of children and youth folklore clusters/sketches “Kaidi silk in a meadow, taddy ammunition in gloves”

On April 28, 2023, in Rēzekne, the New Latgale creative service centre “Zeimuļs” will take place in the sarīkojums of the folklore set of children and youth folklore of North Latgale – skate “Kaidi sildi in a meadow, taidi ammunition glove”, which will involve around 200 participants from various Latgale provinces, parishes and schools.

They will be represented by:

• Rēzekne ARPC “Zeimuļs” folklore studio “viruses”;
• The folklore set of the Cultural and Tourism Centre of Rezekne;                  
• Ludza Music School “Žibuļeits”;
• Gaigalavas primary school “Purineņš”;
• Viļānu cultural house “Biteites”;
• Viļānu secondary school folklore pool;
• Nautrēnu secondary school “Rogovka”;
• The “Tower” of the New_Zealand People's House;
• Kaunatas secondary school “Raznava”;
• The “Headquarters” of the Primary School of Androupene;
• Rēzekne Pole Gymnasia “walls”;
• “Oscans” of the Pusmucova cultural house;
• The primary school folklore set of Merdzene;
• J.ivanova Rēzekne music secondary school folklorists.

It will be possible for participants not only to participate in their own traditions of the People's traditions, but they will also be able to participate in the masterworkshops, exciting consciousness activities, as well as to visit the lovely Rēzekne castle.

The purpose of the event is the acquisition and inheritance of local singing, narrative, musical and dancing traditions in relation to the topic “position.” Craftsmen. 'The task is to create a traditional cultural understanding of Latvian and ethnic minorities, to promote the absorption and promotion of local traditions, encouraging the self-expression of folklore clusters in various areas of traditional culture.

Organisers of the event: Nordlatgale municipality is the co-ordinator of the folklore cluster of children and young people Rasma Igaune and the “Zeimuļs” creative group of Eastern Latvians.
