10. TV programme: Latgale border - place where the European Union starts!

“Latgale border – the place where the European Union starts!” is a new and unique cycle of programmes on daily and ongoing border, as well as the ability and knowledge of citizens to critically assess media content, the availability of media in the outermost state districts and the opinion of specialists on it.
By the end of January of that year, Latgale regional television was composed of ten broadcasts, during which the journalist's dawn Spruukte, Beatrice Jakobsone and Svetlana Dudarenoka went to Latvia-Russia and Latvia-Belarus border to meet residents of Daugavpils, Kraslava, Dagda, Zilupes, Ludza, Ciblas, Karsava, Baltinava, and Vilaka, and local government leaders, other journalists, in order to discuss the most painful issues related to media space, to learn the habits of media usage, and to learn a critical assessment of the information. The closing programme will address the specialists of higher education institutions, NEPLPs, ministries, as well as other institutions in order to find solutions to improve the situation.
In the tenth programme, which is also the closing programme of the cycle, the journalist ausma Spruuke will be in Riga. There will be comments and opinions of the Baltic research journalism centre “re: Baltica” by the representative of the Baltic research journalist “re: Baltica” Inga Springge, a member of the National Electronic Media Council, Patriks griva, who performs commercial and non-commercial activities of commercial and non-commercial, including local, regional, national and cross-border radio and television, as well as Ģirts oak – a member of THE board of the Latvian National Radio and Television Centre. At the time of the programme, we will talk about the recognition of disinformation, support for the improvement of the diversity and quality of regional media and the technical issues of broadcasting quality.
Tenth – “Latgale border – place where the European Union starts!” on January 23, pl. 13:00 channel RigaTV 24, as well as January 30, pl. 16:00 channel: TV. The show will then be found on the website www.lrtv.lv, LRT social network accounts in www.facebook.com, www.youtube.com, as well as in xtv.lv.
Latgale Regional Television for the establishment of broadcasts was supported in the programme “Support for media of public importance and strengthening of the national cultural space in Latvian”.
