On 18 March, a joint visit by Members of the Saeima to Rezekne municipality is expected

While continuing the tradition, representatives of all parties represented in the Saeima go to visit one of Latgale's municipalities. The Saeima deputies elected from Latgale electoral county, Janis Trupovnieks, Janis Tutin, Aldis Adamovičs (“unity”), Juris Vilniums (Latvian regional association), and Valdis Lauskis and Edmunds Turumnieks (national association, Member of the Rēzekne City Council) will participate in this time.
Plumping. 11.00 is intended to be a presentation of the results of the “Rēzekne municipality's secondary school infrastructure development” project, Maltas secondary school and the viewing of its multifunctional medicine.
From at 13:00 is scheduled to meet the tourism offer in Rezekne District, the rehabilitation of the renewed Lūznavas manor and the discussion of the impact of this object on the business environment.
In the afternoon – first visit AT Dricānu in secondary school, where a conversation on youth opportunities in rural areas is planned, but at the end of At 16:00, a discussion on the possibilities of development of Latgale is envisaged in the “lighthouse” development centre.
This type of joint parliamentary visit was launched at the beginning of that year, first meeting with Latvian non-governmental organisations in January, while the Dagda municipality was visited in February, with meetings with both the municipality and the population. In the future, the elected members of Latgale electoral council have committed to continue this tradition, ensuring the representation of their political force.
