On December 20, a Christmas fair WILL be held in the municipality OF Rezekne.
EN is now going to be Christmas – a beautiful, lovely feeling and a sweet peppercake time when the mind wants to set aside all the concern, worry, and everyday haste to let the festival joy, which starts in the eyes of the loving and Middle people and the hearts. It is, of course, the time of Christmas gifts and spiritual feasts. Therefore, in order to take care of everything you need, we call for a Christmas fair that will be held on December 20. 10:00 The Rezekne municipality shall be located in the premises of the local government (in the alley of release 95, Rezekne). Latvian food producers, craftsmen, non-governmental organisations, as well as visitors from other municipalities offering their products for both viewing and purchase are gathered in the market. Visitors of the market will have the opportunity to meet local domestic producers and their offer, choose their preferred purchase, create collaboration, and perhaps even get inspired to start their business.
In particular, food production - SIA “Anel” confectionery products, SNA “mint” meat rolls and dryers, ZS “Silusala”, ZS “Zemezkalni” and ZS “cherry” apples and pears, SIA “Priedaine” sandwich juice and frozen berries, SIA “Ievangles” and ZS “lapegles” beekeeping production, ZS “fox” quail eggs, baked bread of Malnava “veins”, marshes Lipsk peppercakes as well as other knives.
Bright emotions will also be produced by local craftsmen who will be able not only to see but also purchase – leather products, tapping and crocheted scarves, knitted stockings and gloves, woven tablecloths, self-made brochures, accessories, sewn clothes for children, floristics and pearling articles, Christmas greeting cards, ceramics, self-cooked soap, brushes and other useful things.
A number of thematic measures will take place within the framework of the market:
- Local households will share their experiences with their stories about how they can work for their and other joy, feeling satisfaction at the progress made and inspired by the awareness that their work is being evaluated and people need them;
- Nautrēnu presentation of the results of the project “Zemdars” of the project “Land Environment Retention Centre” implemented by the secondary school unit Bērzgales;
- The Europe Direct Information Centre in Eastern Latgale, Ceta Rimšāne, will tell you about the international Christmas gift exchange project, within which schools and pre-school educational institutions from across Europe exchanged gifts – spruce decorations. Following the narrative, the European Christmas tree will be shared with the Rēzekne municipality's decorations from other European countries.
Everyone will be able to engage in creative workshops and, in particular, be pleased with the participation of children:
- Cooking and decoration (the scene Barsukova and Marīte Lipska),
- “Miracle-boom-boom!” - yarn of yarns (SIA “EcoEmi”)
- “Own designer”:
- stylish accessories, roasting of leather (ZS “Apkalnhomes”),
- acquisition of tapping technology (Anita Matisane),
- The production of Europe Direct nozīmīšu (Madara Laksa).
- Rēzekne municipality's Ilzeskalna parish association “home” will bring families with children to participate in table game tournaments.
