On 22 February, an informative meeting of the LEARN Project competition will be held

On 22 February at 14 An informative seminar on the announcement of the “Rural Economic Development Rēzekne District” (LEARN) project competition will be held in the large hall of the municipality of Rezekne.
The aim of the competition is to promote the activity of the population, promote improvement of the quality of life and the development of entrepreneurship, as well as reduce unemployment in the territory of Rezekne District. The maximum amount of funding to be requested in the project is EUR 3000. It is important to note that the project applicant should provide co-financing not less than 10% of the total eligible amount of the project.
Details of project submission and deadlines will be published after THE LEARN meeting, 23 February.
Although such a project competition is announced only for a second year, it made a great deal of responsiveness last year. In total, 64 business plans were submitted, both for the development of existing holdings and for new business activities. 13 projects were supported in 2015. Several project promoters are active members of local domestic producers and craftsmen “Lobs lobby”. On 19 February, the first trade of this year will be held from 10.00 to 13.00 in the municipality of Rezekne.
