On May 5, a new activity starts, the Green Markets season “Lobs Lobam Petertning”
The prosperity of nature is always a waiting moment, especially this spring, when, after the rain and floods of the previous year, it is going to hope for a warm, productive summer this year! Welcome to spring, 5 May at 10.00 Sakstagala parish in Subinaité, Pērtnieku laukums at the motorway A12 all are invited to entertainment and recreational event “Lobs Lobam Pērtnums”, in which entrepreneurs, craftsmen and domestic producers of Rezekne will participate in their products and services. The event is organised by the municipality of Rezekne in cooperation with the foundation “Rural Economic Development in Rēzekne District” (LEARN) and SIA “Latgale River Bay” and SIA “Vlakon”.
“Lob Lobam Peer” is intended as the beginning of the season for a new, regular activity in Rezekne municipality. In particular, it is planned that in the summer season at least once a month an artisanal and domestic market will be organised at least once a month.
The event will provide the opportunity to become acquainted with one of the most interesting and binding sites in the Rēzekne District – Peer Careers – which have been successfully managed since 1998, ensuring the maximum and rational absorption of the territory. In particular, the quarries receive valuable natural resources – sand, gravel, dolomite, but a attractive tourism environment is created and offered to visitors – water tanks with well-equipped bathing sites, sauna, sliders etc. On the other hand, by diversifying and improving economic activity, fish – carooes, cries, sharps, pikes, Stores, carp, Sami, rainbow trout, which are offered to both fishermen's joy and the delicacy of fish production for every gardener – are farmed in water reservoirs.
SIA “Vlakon” has received a variety of national recognition awards for efficient farming, but the production of the trade mark “Pairs” has inherited the recognition of purchasers.
During the event “Lobam Lobam Peer”, every lead will be given the opportunity to participate free of charge in excursions along the Person's business sites – fish ponds (to watch and feed rainbow trout), beaches, banquet medicines, quarries etc. In the area where the trade will take place, the Rēzekne region's rural women's society “Sidrabrasa” will offer a variety of creative workshops, “goldfish”, “fun balloons”, “fantasy on glass”. On the other hand, the environmental protection enthusiastic group “smoke” will call to see the potential for re-use of different things in creative activity “live green, think creative!”. Every lead will be able to gain practical knowledge of “Permanent gardage” in grilling masters and, of course, tasting the results of demonstrations.
From at 12.00 to 15.00 will be available for mobile sauna services with a cuble under open sky.
“Colnasate”, as well as Vērēmu folklore set “Vorpa”, will take care of the sound and smooth operation of the event.
