On 6 July, we call for Ghetto Games in Daugavpils!

The Latgale Planning Region, in cooperation with the association “STREETBASKET” on 6 July, invites everyone to participate in an international street sports festival – “Ghetto Games in Daugavpils!”
In the heart of Daugavpils, in the area of the unit, already from. 11:00 will begin recording for Ghetto Basket tournaments in various age groups: Pro, amateur, women and three youth groups – U16 (2003 and younger), U14 (2005 and younger) and U12 (2007 and younger). In accordance with the conditions, it is prohibited to participate in basketball players in the amateur group who played LBL1 clubs in the last 10 seasons (from the 2009/2010 season) as well as in the last three seasons (from the 2012/2017 season). For the 11 th season of Ghetto Basket, one of the main tournaments will be held directly in Daugavpils, as the Pro group will fight for a road mark on the international basketball Federation (FIBA) 3 x 3 basketball world tournament “Ghetto Basket Riga Challenger”. The best three quartets will also divide the 1000 euro prize fund. “Ghetto Basket” for the Pro group tournament only ON FIBA sacensību website (play.fiba3x3.com) until 5 July 2019 at 23:00, and in other groups, team registration will take place at the event venue from 11:00 to 12:00 12:00.

The smallest supporters will be able to experiment with inflatable attractions, and in parallel the attractions of football shots, football billiards, and table football.
This is one of the most ambitious measures for the project LLI-402 “social integration of young people on the basis of sporting activities” (risk-Free). On June 1, 2019, the beach sports games for young people from Latvia and Lithuania were rolled out in Visaginas, where young people of Latgale region took home 11 prize medals at beach volleyball, quartile and football.
