For a couple of weeks there was spring. As the first of its ambassadors, clearly, there are pedestrians who come back and evaluate their homes – sockets, cages, tree cavities. Many homes need “repairs”, but a large part of the outbound birds is simply missing. The 5 th grade school pupils of the new junior school, waiting for bird days and using the project for two days at the same time, took up 8 new cages.

On the first day, the big work of the cages took place. The children, both boys and girls, were sketched and surveyed under the supervision and supervision of the household teacher Andreja Zahara. Uneaten boards were used for the work because, as it is known, birds do not love the “polished” headquarters, they like all natural.

After that, the pupils left their “signatures” on the front walls of the cages — someone marked a sympathic bunch, some typing the year of the cage, the other words and the class in which they learned. On some of the cages there was a strange monograms “STR”, which translated into the Sherjan Stream.

A few days later, the pupils, together with the class nurse and the school's housekeeper, Witold Bautri, went to place the cages in the trees and the area behind the market. Vitold fastened each cage into his tree, more choosing a birch.

At present, all eight cages are already populated, and the school hill has become eight o'clock songs.

This, as if the little piece of work, brought true joy and satisfaction to the children. Now, or every morning, they go to see their winged friends who do not scramble with songs, so that they thank children for their new home. The accomplishment also strengthened the pupils' consciousness that everyone – a bird child and a human child – had a very, very necessary home in which each is expected, loved, cared for and safe.

The singling of the streams from the heart is delighted by the 5 th class students: Mikhail Sazonov, Arnolds Anufrijevs, Kārlis Kalnejs, Elgar Razgalis, Marika valda Ulyanov, Victoria Colosova, Victoria Kurmewa, Maria Fiļimonova, Artis Garda, Emills Kapacis, and class nurse Vanda Kebe.
