Graduation of graduates at Sherjan School

On 29 May, the Public Activity Centre “Sherjan School” invited everyone who belonged TO THE Sherjan School OF Gaigalavas. This year, the Sherjan School would celebrate a 175-year anniversary.

The Shergian School, founded in 1840, was closed 6 years ago in 2009. During the 169 s, it has suffered a variety of historical times and power change, war and fire horror. At the time, the school was located in nine buildings, so that the more detailed archives of the school could be found only from 1947. The Sherjan School has always been small in terms of both the occupied area and the number of pupils. Since 1947, the school has been graduated, about 600 graduates.

Former graduates, teachers, pupils, technicians, friends, relatives and guests came to the graduates' evening concert. According to the data collected, 102 participants associated with the Shergian School arrived and registered.

Thank you very much for all the concert participants and collective leaders for the beautiful, affectionate event. Since the school closed, there had been no children's voices, so thank YOU very much FOR Gaigalavas primary school director Ināra Usis for the support of the concert and for the beautiful pupils' performances, the folklore tree “Purina” (lead Rasma Igaune), the 5 th-9 th dance collector (lead Silvija Bocta), stories “all 10” (lead Erika Bozovich). Thank you also FOR Gaigalavas cultural house collectors – a youth dance collector “Krovelte” (lead Maira Gribuste), amateur theatre “Bykovich” (leader Erika Bozovich). The courage to reveal secrets, thanks to our children, who learn Dricānu and Rogovka High Schools. Of course, thanks also to the self-workers of the Centre for Activity – the women's ensemble (vad. Kuzminai), the amateur theatre “such as” (leader Jolanta Mikhailova).

Most sincerely, thank you for daring for the last, 2009 graduate class of the event, for the thrilling words for Leonginai Latkovsk and for the exciting dedication of the graduates Erica Bozovich and Aigai Spīcha!

By the time of the school anthem, the eyes of many of them were tears. What would it be, if there were... beautiful and sentimental memories, the long-lost classmates, the loved teachers, the thrilling words and emotions made their own sense that the School of Sherjans was my school!

The school call paused, waiting for the next graduate break … since 2009, AT Stružānu in the school building, the Public Activity Centre and the Vecjjan Library are active. But that's another story.
