Calls on domestic producers to apply for a taste festival

This year, the “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” event organized BY SIA “Latvia's Rural Consultation and Education Centre” was held. In Latgale region, the Latvian producers of Rezekne and Viļānu were highly successful by Andris Vishnevskis, “Vilnius”, z/s “knees”, z/s “fishermen” and “Latgolys Golds”.
On 27 and 28 September, Riga's new cultural and entertainment centre “Hanza perons” will take place in a final, inviting all domestic producers to participate.
In the course of the first day, a wide-ranging programme is planned in the context of the conference “liec food basket local!”. At this time, experts from various sectors will share their experience both on the market in Latvia, abroad, on healthy lunch in the family and at school and on the requirements of this moment, habits, bio-food baskets and other issues. It is advisable to visit manufacturers, traders, local government representatives, procurement specialists, school cooks, all who are worried, interested in children and their own. It is an opportunity to create contacts, gain knowledge of market opportunities, trends, experience, build awareness of school menus, healthy local production.
On the second day, September 28, food producers will offer their best, most interesting, healthier products. There will be masters, competitions, prizes, local product auction. Enjoy the musicians.
In order for the festival to be saturated, applications for trade from all Latvian small producers and domestic producers will be expected by September 10. www.novadagarsa.lv.
