Calls for projects TO be prepared FOR EU support to forests

THE SIA LLCC Forest Advisory Services Centre (MCC) draws attention to the attention of forest owners that: Rural Support Service (LAD) announces the adoption of project applications in the event “Investments in the expansion of forest areas and improvement of forest viability”. The total public funding available at the event is eur 8,5 million.
The aid will be eligible for three sub-measures:

• Sub-measure “Forestry” it will be possible to apply for forest harvesting and care activities, as well as for replenishment and co-operation of grown forest stands.
  The fourth round will take place from 9 October 2017 to 9 November 2017the total available funding is €1.5 million.
  The fifth round will take place from 10 November 2017 to 11 December 2017the total available funding is €1.5 million.
• Restoration of forest stands destroyed in the sub-measure “forest fires and natural disasters” aid shall be granted for reforestation in areas where a fire or natural disaster (wind, wind, snow and ice damage) has been detected in accordance with the opinion of the State Forest Service, due to which the forest stand has been destroyed, so the forest shall be renewable in this area. The fourth round will take place between 9 October 2017 and 9 November 2017, with a total available funding of 500 thousand euros.
• Under the sub-measure “Investments to improve the resilience and environmental value of forest ecosystems” the aid shall be granted for the rearing of young generations, replacement of non-productive forest stands, replacement of the dominant tree species in balloon species in forest stands from 30 years of age or dense species in forest stands. The fourth round will take place between 9 October 2017 and 9 November 2017, with the available funding of eur 5 million.
